Bayley is staying in WWE after months of uncertainty about her future. According to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, the former WWE Women’s Champion has signed a new deal with the company.
The length and financial terms of the deal haven’t been disclosed.
“Yep, signed a new deal,” Meltzer said of Bayley’s status.
The news comes one day after Bayley returned to WWE programming on the September 7 episode of RAW at the Legacy Arena in Birmingham, Alabama. She made a surprise appearance during the Triple Threat match between Lyra Valkyria, Sol Ruca and Maxxine Dupri, a qualifier for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.
Valkyria had hit the Nightwing on Dupri and was close to winning when Bayley pulled the referee out of the ring. The distraction opened the door for Ruca to hit the Sol Snatcher on Valkyria and pick up the win.
After the match, Bayley attacked her former partner and went for a powerbomb through the announce table, but Valkyria managed to escape.
Bayley’s contract status had been closely watched since her previous deal, signed in late 2023, began approaching its expiration at the end of 2026.
On July 18, Bayley lost to Valkyria at Saturday Night’s Main Event at Madison Square Garden in New York City. After the match, Valkyria continued attacking Bayley, which was used to write Bayley off TV.
