Brock Lesnar’s WWE career officially came to an end on August 1 at SummerSlam, where he lost to Oba Femi in a Hell in a Cell match. Three days later, on August 4, Lesnar confirmed on the Pat McAfee Show that he won’t be returning to the ring.
Now that Lesnar has called it a career, one of the most eye-opening numbers to emerge is just how few matches he actually worked.
According to Cagematch, Lesnar wrestled only 445 matches across his entire pro wrestling career, finishing with a record of 318 wins, 118 losses, and nine draws.

10:30 PM · Aug 18, 2026The gap becomes even more striking when you stack Lesnar up against other retired legends. Triple H finished with 1,990 matches on record, John Cena reached 2,329, and The Undertaker logged 2,502.
Ric Flair is on a completely different level. Cagematch currently lists 5,008 career matches for Flair, more than 11 times Lesnar’s total.
The low match count is a direct reflection of how Lesnar’s career was structured. He left WWE in 2004 and didn’t return until 2012, then worked a very limited schedule, primarily serving as a special attraction. Despite that, he finished his career with ten world championships in WWE and five WrestleMania main events.
