Chelsea Green says she lost a lot more than the WWE Women’s Championship at Crown Jewel on Saturday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

On the Crown Jewel post-show, Green said Tiffany Stratton turning on her hurt more than losing the title.

“How do you think I feel?” Green said. “I spent my entire wrestling career waiting for this moment, wanting to stand here and tell the WWE Universe, and my mom and dad, and my friends that I belong here.”

She noted that on last week’s SmackDown, she promised that Crown Jewel would be the night she proved, once and for all, that she deserved to be at the top of the women’s division.

“I just spent 10 minutes on SmackDown telling the world that this was going to be the moment at Crown Jewel that was gonna show everyone I belonged here,” Green said. She added that instead, she didn’t just lose her championship but also “lost a friend.”

But instead of promising revenge, Green admitted that her confidence took a hit and that she will need some time to recover.

“So, I’m gonna go home and regroup,” she said. “And I’m gonna do whatever I need to do to build my confidence back up.”

Shortly before the cash-in, Green defeated Liv Morgan with a roll-up to win the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship, one of the biggest wins of her career. During the celebration, with Triple H in the ring, Morgan attacked Green. Stratton then came out and cashed in her Money in the Bank contract, seemingly on Morgan. Green was able to fight off Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, who tried to interfere, but when she turned around, Stratton attacked her.

With that, Green’s reign with the title ended after 97 days. On August 2, she won the title at SummerSlam in Minneapolis in a ladder match that also included Stratton.

This wasn’t the first time Stratton won the WWE Women’s title this way. On January 3, 2025, she cashed in on Nia Jax, her partner at the time, on SmackDown to begin her first reign with the title.
