Saturday’s AEW Collision produced two more semifinalists for the Continental Challenge Cup, as Claudio Castagnoli and Kyle O’Reilly both picked up quarterfinal victories to stay alive in the tournament.
The first tournament bout of the night saw Kyle O’Reilly take on his Conglomeration stablemate Orange Cassidy. Despite their friendship, both put personal ties aside with a semifinal spot up for grabs.
O’Reilly got the better of Cassidy, securing his spot in the semifinals and keeping his Continental Challenge Cup run alive.

12:56 AM · Aug 23, 2026Castagnoli’s quarterfinal came with a late opponent change. Eddie Kingston was originally slated to face him, but Kingston was pulled from the tournament after failing to receive medical clearance. Daniel Garcia earned the replacement spot by winning a qualifying match against Adam Priest at ROH Death Before Dishonor.
Castagnoli defeated Garcia in a Death Riders clash to advance to the next round of the tournament.
Castagnoli and O’Reilly now join the other semifinalists already in place for the Continental Challenge Cup. The tournament continues to build toward its conclusion at AEW All In: London, where the winner will claim both the cup and the AEW Continental Championship.
