Darby Allin has no intention of dialing back his in-ring intensity, whether he is wrestling on AEW Dynamite, Collision, or pay-per-view.
In a recent interview with Good Karma Wrestling, Allin explained that the high caliber of AEW’s matches makes him view every appearance as an obligation to give his all.
“I don’t believe in having an off night. Every week, the matches are incredible, and I want to bring that same energy every time I step into the ring.”
“People tell me to save it for the PPV, but I don’t see it that way.”
Allin added that Dynamite, Collision, and pay-per-views are all important to him.
“AEW is a huge blessing, and I want to give it the respect it deserves. Every single week feels like a pay-per-view.”
The stance is not a new one for Allin. Back in April, while still AEW World Champion, he said on Dynamite that he would put his body on the line every week until he could no longer continue.
Allin became a champion again at All In: London on August 30, when he defeated Kevin Knight to begin his third TNT Championship reign. He has since defended the title against Mark Davis and Myron Reed.
At All Out on Saturday, Allin teamed with Steven Borden against Knight and Kyle Fletcher.
