Darby Allin has made no secret of his desire to team with Sting’s son Steven Borden in AEW, looking to carry forward the partnership that defined a significant stretch of his run alongside “The Icon.”
The new TNT Champion discussed the possibility during the post-show press conference after AEW All In: London, held Sunday at Wembley Stadium. Allin defeated Kevin Knight in a Falls Count Anywhere Match to capture the title, with both Sting and Steven playing key roles during the bout.
Speaking about his relationship with Steven, Allin said he wants to give back to Sting’s son everything the legendary veteran gave him throughout their time together.
“Everything Sting gave me in my career, I want to give to Steven. He never wanted to be a wrestler growing up. When he was at Sting’s last match, he was like, ‘I need this.’ I told Steven, ‘You can come train with me.’ It’s a great moment. That’s family.”

“100%. Whenever it is time, 100%. That is how this story gets full circle. Just like I teamed with Sting. At some point, if it lines up, me and Steven, absolutely.”
Steven began training with Allin after being involved in Sting’s retirement match at AEW Revolution 2024. His first match came in October 2025, and he has been gaining experience working dark matches ahead of AEW shows since then.
The All In appearance also continued Steven’s growing presence in AEW programming. On this week’s Collision, he confronted Kevin Knight, shot down an approach from Don Callis, and put the then-champion on notice that Darby was headed to Wembley to take the TNT Championship.
