Add as a preferred source on Google Alexa Bliss is not expected to be part of the Ladder Match that will crown the Interim WWE Women’s Champion at SummerSlam, even though three spots in the match remain open.
During a recent Q&A session, WrestleVotes said Bliss’ name hasn’t come up in the creative discussions for the match.
“She’s not planned for the match. For whatever reason. I haven’t heard her name included in SummerSlam plans.”
JoeyVotes also pointed out that Bliss’ elbow situation may have factored into the decision.
“She’s got the elbow. So that might be part of why she’s not part of SummerSlam.”
Bliss was attacked by Jade Cargill on the July 10 episode of SmackDown, where her arm was trapped in a steel chair. She later appeared wearing a sling at Fanatics Fest.
So far, however, no legitimate injury has been confirmed.
Even so, Bliss publicly asked Triple H to put her and Charlotte Flair in the Ladder Match for the title, saying she’d compete with just one arm.

As previously reported, before Rhea Ripley suffered a knee injury, WWE had been working with Bliss or Jacy Jayne as possible opponents for Ripley at SummerSlam.
SummerSlam will take place August 1-2 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
