Kevin Owens is reportedly one of the WWE stars who don’t want to travel to Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.

Jonathan Coachman brought up the news on Tuesday’s episode of Two Count Tuesday. Crown Jewel is still scheduled to take place on November 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium at KAFD in Riyadh.

According to Coachman, someone within WWE gave him the names of several talents who are “backstage furious” about WWE’s decision to keep Crown Jewel in Riyadh.

“Some of the names I got that do not want to go,” Coachman said, and he listed Owens, Danhausen, and Sami Zayn.

During the discussion, JDfromNY linked the frustration to WWE’s decision to book Owens against CM Punk for the November 6 SmackDown instead of Crown Jewel.

The match was announced on Friday and will be taped on Monday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. “So I think that was gonna happen at Crown Jewel, but it’s not happening because they don’t wanna go to Saudi,” JD said.

Zayn was on Coachman’s list, but he is advertised for Crown Jewel, where he will face Roman Reigns for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Fightful Select reported that WWE wrestlers and staff were unhappy that the company was still going ahead with the show in Saudi Arabia due to the recent security issues in the country.

In an update on Monday, WrestleVotes reported that talent can opt out of the trip. But those who stay home will not get paid for the show, and there could be consequences that hurt their spot on the roster.
