WWE has started setting up for Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, despite security alerts issued by the United States.

The company is moving forward with its preparations for the November 7 event.

According to PWInsider, WWE officials have shown no sign that they are reconsidering holding the premium live event in Saudi Arabia. Monday’s report confirmed that setup work has begun and that plans remain unchanged.

The update comes after images released on Friday showed construction underway at Riyadh Season Stadium, including metal structures and stands being put in place.

But behind the scenes, the decision to keep the event in Saudi Arabia reportedly isn’t sitting well with everyone. Fightful Select reported on Sunday that some wrestlers and staff members are unhappy with the situation. WWE is also reportedly in constant contact with the event’s Saudi organizers to monitor developments in the country.

Attacks in the region have also disrupted air travel. According to Cirium data published by Reuters, 4,071 of the 4,736 scheduled flights at Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, or 86 percent, were canceled between October 8 and Sunday.

The airport partially resumed operations on Sunday, with domestic flights and limited international service from Saudi carriers. But some international airlines have suspended their flights to Riyadh until November.
