Jade Cargill made it clear that her immediate future in WWE is still tied to the Women’s Championship. On this week’s Friday Night SmackDown, held in Columbia, South Carolina, “The Storm” said she plans to win the title back at Clash In Italy on May 31.
Cargill’s appearance came one week after she returned to the show by attacking Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, with help from Michin and B-Fab. The attack also helped Fatal Influence win last week’s six-woman tag team match.
During Friday’s segment, Cargill was interrupted by Flair and Bliss before she could finish speaking. Rhea Ripley, however, did not appear, which led directly into Charlotte and Alexa facing Michin and B-Fab.
The match ended by disqualification when Cargill pulled Bliss out of the ring just as Bliss had B-Fab beaten after hitting a Sister Abigail. After the match, Flair challenged Cargill to a fight, but the former champion decided to back down.
Ripley defeated Cargill at WrestleMania 42 to win the WWE Women’s Championship.
