Je’Von Evans Set to Break Major Record at WWE Money in the Bank

Je’Von Evans is set to make WWE history on Saturday, October 10. At just 22, he will become the youngest wrestler ever to compete in a Money in the Bank Ladder Match. The match awards its winner a contract for a world title shot that can be cashed in at any time over the next 12 months.

A Triple Threat Match win over Austin Theory and Big Cass on the September 14 episode of Raw put Evans in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Saturday will mark Evans’ first appearance in the match. The field also includes Bron Breakker, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens.

Breaking the most notable record in play would require Evans to win. That record belongs to Theory, who won the briefcase in 2022 at 24. Just appearing in the match is a different story. Roxanne Perez was 23 when she competed in the 2025 Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Evans said on the September 21 edition of RAW that he also wanted to become the youngest winner in Money in the Bank history. Breakker and his fellow members of The Vision confronted Evans that night, and the exchange led to a singles match between the two. Evans won by disqualification after Theory interfered.

On the October 5 episode of RAW, Evans and Penta kept the feud going by defeating World Tag Team Champions Breakker and Theory in a non-title match. With the referee distracted, Evans hit Theory with brass knuckles and then pinned him for the win.

Evans is also scheduled to appear on SmackDown on Friday, October 9, ahead of Money in the Bank. All 12 competitors from the men’s and women’s ladder matches will be on the show.
