Raquel Rodriguez spoke about her friendship with Liv Morgan and how important their relationship has become outside the ring.

In an interview with The Sporting Tribune, Rodriguez explained why she considers Morgan a sister.

Rodriguez said there is no one else in WWE she would be as loyal to as Morgan. She also said she is proud of Morgan’s accomplishments, especially her recent move into movies.

“There’s no one else I think in this entire company that I would rather be loyal to and have their back and be there for them to support them as much as Liv.”

Rodriguez continued:

“I’m so proud of her and her accomplishments in her career, and even growing outside of the WWE with her movie career. It’s so great to be present and to be able to experience that with her and to go on this road with her and this journey with her.

I’m so grateful that I have someone I can call my actual sister in and outside of the ring, and that’s Liv Morgan for sure.”

In the same interview, Rodriguez said she and Morgan have never had a fight or an argument in the four or five years they have been friends. She compared their personalities and described Morgan as someone full of energy, while she herself prefers to be more organized and stick to a set plan.

Their partnership started in the ring and eventually extended into their personal lives. The two celebrate birthdays with each other, know each other’s families, and often travel together.

Rodriguez and Morgan have won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship four times as a team. Rodriguez teased a fifth reign while discussing that track record.

“Fifth time coming soon.”

Rodriguez’s support away from the ring was also on display recently in Japan. On October 1, she joined Morgan at the premiere of Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo in Shinjuku, Tokyo.

Rodriguez’s loyalty to Morgan carries over to WWE TV. On Friday’s SmackDown, Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez stopped Tiffany Stratton from cashing in her Money in the Bank contract on Morgan. They pulled Morgan out of the ring before Stratton could complete the cash-in.
