Add as a preferred source on Google Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods already have their first bookings announced since leaving WWE earlier this month.
GalaxyCon confirmed the two New Day members for its Oklahoma City edition, taking place May 22–24. Both are listed under the pro-wrestling section of the event, with appearances scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.
The detail that stands out the most is how both are being billed. Kingston is listed simply as Kofi, while Woods is being advertised as Austin Creed — the name he already used outside of WWE, especially for projects tied to gaming and pop culture.
The appearance comes just weeks after the duo’s departure from WWE. Their exit was part of a mutual agreement between both sides.
As we previously reported, Kingston and Woods chose to leave the company after being called in to restructure their contracts. That same report indicates both are under a 90-day no-compete clause with other promotions.
