Liv Morgan Regains Women’s World Championship at WWE Money in the Bank

Liv Morgan regained the Women’s World Championship on Saturday night, defeating Stephanie Vaquer and Becky Lynch in a Triple Threat Match at WWE Money in the Bank.

The match was closely contested, and all three women had chances to win. Vaquer nearly retained the title after hitting Morgan with a twisting moonsault, but Lynch pulled the referee out of the ring to stop the count.

Late in the match, Vaquer took Lynch out by throwing her onto a table outside the ring. Morgan capitalized, hitting Vaquer with Oblivion and covering her for the win.

Vaquer won the title from Morgan on September 12 at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile. Lynch served as the special guest referee for that match and played a direct role in the outcome.

On the most recent episode of Raw, Morgan and Lynch met in a No. 1 contender’s match that ended without a winner after chaos involving The Judgment Day and Vaquer. That led Adam Pearce to make the Triple Threat Match official.

Tiffany Stratton also won the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match on the same show, earning the right to challenge for a women’s world title at any time.
