Stephanie Vaquer will defend the Women’s World Championship in a major triple threat match against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan at WWE Money in the Bank. The premium live event is set for Saturday, October 10, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans.
The triple threat came together in the main event of Monday’s Raw in St. Louis. Lynch and Morgan met there in a No. 1 contender’s match, but it ended without a winner after Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez interfered.
Vaquer also stepped in to deal with The Judgment Day, only to get hit by Lynch and then by Morgan. An angry Vaquer grabbed a microphone and made it clear she wanted to face both women at Money in the Bank.
Adam Pearce came out and made the title match official on the spot.
The three women have been feuding since September. Vaquer regained the title from Morgan on September 12 at a WWE live event in Santiago, Chile, with Lynch serving as special guest referee. The win started Vaquer’s second reign as champion and ended Morgan’s at 148 days.
Vaquer and Morgan also faced off at WrestleMania 42, where Morgan won the title.
