Lyra Valkyria revealed key details about one of the most distinctive parts of her WWE presentation: her ring gear.
In a recent interview with the Toronto Sun, the Irish wrestler said her outfits are made by Fiadh Bork, who is also from Ireland and lives about an hour from where Valkyria grew up. According to Valkyria, Fiadh started out making outfits for pole dancing before moving into pro wrestling.
“She’s absolutely incredible,” Valkyria said, noting that Fiadh made the first set of gear she wore at a WWE tryout, a look that still remains very close to her current identity.

“Yes, I have an amazing lady named Fiadh Bork. She’s Irish as well. She actually only lives about an hour up the road from where I grew up. So I know she started out doing actually pole dancing… pic.twitter.com/XvRpvhNp2L
That tryout took place in 2019 at the WWE UK Performance Center in London. At the time, WWE listed Valkyria, then known as Valkyrie Marie Cusak, as one of the top Irish wrestlers taking part in the company’s women’s tryout.
Since then, Valkyria has built a strong run in the company. A Dublin native, she became NXT Women’s Champion, the first Women’s Intercontinental Champion in history, and also won the Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 41.
Along with Lyra, Fiadh has also worked with major WWE names such as Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch herself. For Valkyria, the fact that someone so close to her Irish roots reached that level makes it all even more special.
