The Miz, who is still active at 45 years old, revealed that he does not enjoy one of the most common parts of any wrestler’s routine: working out.

In a recent interview with Muscle & Fitness, the former WWE Champion admitted that he does not like spending too much time in the gym, although he remains focused on maintaining his physique and longevity in the ring.

“I don’t like working out. A lot of people say they are always in the gym, but I have better things on my mind that I can think of doing. So, I’m always a big person as far as finding the tools you can utilize, that’ll allow you to be the best version of yourself.”

Despite his resistance to training, Miz said he follows a diet of about 2,600 calories per day. Weighing around 221 pounds, he aims to consume one gram of protein per pound of body weight and, for cardio, usually does 30 to 40 minutes on an incline treadmill.

The Miz continues to appear on Friday Night SmackDown, where he is currently involved in a comedic rivalry with Danhausen and Kit Wilson. At Backlash, Miz and Wilson were defeated by Danhausen and Minihausen.
