Finn Bálor opened up about one of the more curious aspects of his WWE career: his lack of interest in media appearances, podcasts, and public events.
During a recent appearance on What’s Your Story? with Stephanie McMahon, Bálor said he sees himself as very different from names like Cody Rhodes, especially when it comes to dealing with attention and exposure.
The Irish star explained that he prefers to express himself physically, inside the ring, rather than by speaking in front of cameras. According to him, in recent years, he has made a clear effort to avoid those kinds of commitments whenever possible.
“I don’t think it’s a problem. I feel like it’s a part of the job that I’m not excellent at, but it’s also not a part of the job that I necessarily want to be excellent at. I just want to be in the ring, performing, backstage with the guys, and doing my job.”

Bálor also admitted that spending more time on that side of the business might help his career, but made it clear he is not willing to force something that is not part of his personality.
Still during the interview, he revealed that he received important advice from Paul Heyman, who told him to approach promos the same way he approaches his matches, instead of memorizing everything word for word.
Bálor remains on Monday Night RAW, where he is feuding with his former Judgment Day allies.
