Viper Reports reported that Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship will be the main event of Saturday’s Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
This will be Reigns’ fourth Crown Jewel main event. He was in the main event in 2021 against Brock Lesnar, in 2022 against Logan Paul, and in 2023 against LA Knight, and he successfully defended the title each time. But in 2024, Reigns teamed with The Usos to open the show against Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline, while Cody Rhodes and Gunther were in the main event.
Since 2024, the men’s Crown Jewel Championship match has been the main event. Last year’s show in Perth, Australia, saw Seth Rollins defeat Cody Rhodes.
Zayn is coming off a successful defense of the Undisputed WWE Championship against Trick Williams in a No Disqualification match on the October 30 SmackDown. The match included a low blow and a belt shot. Reigns beat LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank on October 10.
The show will also feature Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship and The Vision defending the World Tag Team Championship.
