Roman Reigns defeated Sami Zayn in the Crown Jewel main event on Saturday at ANB Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, to win his first Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Reigns is now the third wrestler to win the title, following Cody Rhodes, who won it in 2024, and Seth Rollins, who beat Rhodes last year in Perth, Australia.

The match was very even and went back and forth. The crowd was loudly behind Zayn from his entrance, and he kicked out of several near falls but kept fighting back.

At one point, Reigns accidentally hit the referee and took him out. Charles Robinson came in to replace him, but he didn’t last long because Zayn hit him with a Helluva Kick.

Eventually, Reigns told Zayn he respected him and immediately hit another Spear for the pin.

After the match, Reigns hugged Zayn in a show of respect. Triple H came to the ring to present Reigns with the title and hand the Undisputed WWE Championship back to Zayn. Zayn tried to raise Reigns’ arm, but Reigns did the same for him.

Reigns is still undefeated in 2026, and this was his eighth win of the year. He also holds the World Heavyweight Championship, which he won at WrestleMania 42 in April against CM Punk. It was Reigns and Zayn’s first singles match since Elimination Chamber 2023 in Montreal, where Reigns successfully defended the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.

Meanwhile, Zayn is still the Undisputed WWE Champion after winning the title back on September 11 against CM Punk on SmackDown in Mexico City.
