Hiromu Takahashi could be the next major Japanese name to arrive in WWE, just months after ending his historic run with NJPW.
According to False Finish, sources indicate that Takahashi is expected to report soon to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

As of now, WWE has not officially announced Takahashi’s signing. However, the rumor carries more weight because this is not the first time his name has been linked to the company in recent weeks.

In May, Bodyslam reported that Takahashi’s name had been circulating around the Performance Center as someone expected to arrive in WWE. At the time, the possibility also surfaced that he could use the name Nox Raijin, which WWE trademarked in April.
That name had initially been linked to EVIL, who left NJPW and debuted in NXT as Naraku.
Takahashi officially left NJPW in February. His final appearance came at The New Beginning in Osaka, where he said goodbye to the company after more than a decade as one of the top names in the junior heavyweight division.
During his time with New Japan, Takahashi won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship five times and also won Best of the Super Juniors on multiple occasions. His departure was presented as a decision tied to new challenges, not as a split from the company.
