Maxxine Dupri is in a completely different chapter of her WWE career. After spending years alongside Otis and Akira Tozawa as part of Alpha Academy, she joined The Vision and debuted a new version of her character on RAW.
In a recent interview with WittyWhittier, Dupri was asked about an aspect of life as a WWE Superstar that fans might not fully appreciate. When the interviewer brought up the discipline required to stay on top of diet and training while on the road, Maxxine played it off with humor.
“I mean, I was born great, born disciplined. So, like, eating healthy and working out, I do that in my sleep.”
The real challenge, in her eyes, is the WWE schedule and the extended time spent away from home.
“I think I’m going to say the schedule. I think people just don’t realize how much you’re not home and how much you’re spending time on the road, which is a beautiful thing. I think it’s like the blessing and the curse, right? So, I’m going to say that.”
Maxxine added that the grind of catching early-morning flights and heading straight to the next show is something that’s hard to truly grasp without living it firsthand.
“I think people do understand, but until you’ve experienced those early flights and then landing and going straight to another show, I think until you’ve really experienced that, you can’t fully understand it.”
Her comments echo a point she’s made before. Back in June, Dupri called Otis and Tozawa her best friends and said that traveling the world with them was one of the most memorable parts of her run in WWE.
