Member of Major Stable Nearing WWE Return

Bronson Reed could be nearing a return to WWE programming after spending close to six months on the shelf with an injury.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite, Reed is in the advanced stages of recovery, and people within WWE believe he could be back as early as next month. The most optimistic timeline would place him at Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6 in Atlanta, Georgia.

Reed has been sidelined since the February 23 episode of Monday Night RAW, when he suffered a distal bicep tear during an Elimination Chamber qualifying Triple Threat against Jey Uso and Original El Grande Americano. He was forced out of the match and underwent surgery four days later.

His recovery, however, has progressed better than initially expected. On the July 20 RAW, Michael Cole noted that Reed was “way ahead of schedule” in his rehab.

Another sign came on August 17, when Reed posted a photo showing off a significant physical transformation.

Prior to the injury, Reed was part of The Vision and was directly involved in the stable’s top storylines. His absence also forced WWE to adjust plans for both the Elimination Chamber and WrestleMania 42.
