Bronson Reed appears to be nearing a return to WWE programming.
On Monday’s episode of RAW, held in Detroit, Michael Cole said Reed is “way ahead of schedule” in his recovery.
It’s the most positive update the company has given since Reed suffered a distal biceps tear on the Feb. 23 episode of RAW. The injury occurred during a Triple Threat Match against Jey Uso and the Original El Grande Americano, when Reed left the match and never returned. Four days later, The Vision member underwent surgery.

Nearly five months have now passed since the procedure, which took place on Feb. 27. Despite the progress Cole mentioned, WWE has yet to announce an official date for Reed’s return to the ring.
Reed, however, has already returned to training at the Performance Center. Last week, he posted a photo wearing boots and knee pads while sitting inside a ring, a sign that he has entered a more advanced stage of his rehab.
His return would give The Vision another heavyweight presence at a time when Bron Breakker and Austin Theory sit atop the tag team division. Reed has been out since February and did not compete at WrestleMania 42.
