Piper Niven still has no timetable for an in-ring return to WWE, but she does not consider her career over.
The Scottish wrestler has been off programming since August 2025, when she defeated Charlotte Flair on an episode of Friday Night SmackDown. Since then, her status has raised concern backstage and among fans, especially after it was confirmed that she was dealing with a serious neck issue.
In recent days, Niven addressed the situation again on social media after a fan suggested that her career could be nearing its end. Her response was direct, making it clear that she should not be counted out just yet.
“Don’t count me out yet. Just letting you know it’s going to take a long time and maybe it might not happen, so we don’t have to answer the same question 50 times every live.”
Soon after, Niven also confirmed that she is sidelined with cervical stenosis, a condition that can cause compression of the spinal cord or nerves in the neck.
In May, Niven had already revealed that she underwent an anterior discectomy, a surgical procedure used to treat cervical spine issues, including herniated discs and nerve compression.
At the time, Niven said she woke up from surgery already feeling better, but admitted that the past few months had been difficult and frightening.
Niven’s absence has also directly affected the Secret Hervice, the group led by Chelsea Green. Before being sidelined, she had been working alongside Alba Fyre as one of the main allies of the former WWE Women’s United States Champion.
There is still no official timetable for her return to WWE TV. However, Niven’s own comments indicate that while the road back may be long, an in-ring return is not completely off the table.
