Roman Reigns will compete in this year’s WarGames match at WWE Survivor Series, according to Dave Meltzer, and the match could be five-on-five.
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer said WWE is planning a match with 10 participants, including the current World Heavyweight Champion.
The match is expected to pit The Bloodline against The 946, two factions that have been locked in a major feud in recent weeks.
Carmelo Hayes returned to WWE television on Monday’s Raw and joined The 946. He helped Royce Keys, Bronco Nima and Lucien Price attack Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa, escalating the feud.
With Reigns in the match, The Bloodline could put together a team made up of him, The Usos, Sikoa and Jacob Fatu. Fatu would need to return to television to take part, however, as he has been out of action since Jaida Parker ran him over on the Sept. 28 episode of Raw.
The 946 has four male members in Keys, Nima, Price and Hayes. If WWE keeps the match all-male, which is likely, the group will need to add a fifth man to complete its team.
Reigns is advertised for next week’s Raw as well as the Nov. 2, 9 and 23 episodes, giving WWE four shows it could use to put the teams together.
Survivor Series: WarGames is set for Nov. 28.
