WWE has confirmed two major attractions for next week’s Raw on October 19 at Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.
Roman Reigns is set to return to WWE television, and Joe Hendry will face JD McDonagh.
Reigns did not appear on this week’s Raw in Bossier City, Louisiana. He last appeared at Money in the Bank on October 10, when he defeated LA Knight to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
The return will come at an important time for Reigns. WWE has confirmed that he will face Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn at Crown Jewel on November 7 in Saudi Arabia. The Men’s Crown Jewel Championship will be on the line.
Reigns will also return to find The Bloodline in shambles. Carmelo Hayes made his WWE return on this week’s Raw and officially joined 946, attacking Solo Sikoa and The Usos. That gave Royce Keys’ group another member for its feud with Reigns’ family.
The other match will be a rematch between Hendry and McDonagh, booked after McDonagh ran out of patience with Hendry’s constant taunts. Hendry has been mocking the size of McDonagh’s head, comparing him to a Funko Pop.
The two previously met on the September 7 episode of Raw, where Hendry picked up the win with help from Je’Von Evans. This time, McDonagh will have another chance at revenge.
