Rey Mysterio is no longer the AAA general manager, at least for now. In a segment on Saturday’s third and final week of AAA Heroes Inmortales, Dorian Roldan announced that Rey has been indefinitely suspended and accused him of having an affair with Marisela Pena, Roldan’s mother.

Roldan interrupted as Rey inducted Pena into the AAA Hall of Fame. He said he went to the highest authority in lucha libre with complaints about the general manager. One of them is Rey interfering in AAA Mega Championship matches. At Triplemania 34, Rey ran to the ring as a referee and made the count for El Grande Americano’s win over Dominik Mysterio before getting involved in their rematch on the first week of Heroes Inmortales.

Rey was also accused of attacking a fan at AAA Ola de Calor on August 30. Roldan noted that the attack was on Omos, who was only at the show as a fan because Rey himself had suspended him.

Roldan blamed the injuries to El Hijo del Vikingo and Mini Vikingo on Rey sending AAA talent to work in dangerous conditions in the United States.

Roldan then asked why Pena picked Rey over her own son to be general manager and to induct her into the Hall of Fame. After that, he said he has proof that Rey is having an affair with Pena and accused him of using the relationship to take control of AAA.

AAA has yet to reveal who will serve as general manager while Rey is suspended. The segment, which was part of the angle between Rey and Roldan, was taped on October 24 in Mexico City and closed Heroes Inmortales.

Rey held the position for just over five months after Pena picked him on May 23.
