Roman Reigns put The Bloodline back at the center of this week’s Monday Night RAW in Baltimore, appearing alongside Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Jacob Fatu. During the segment, the World Heavyweight Champion presented Fatu with an Ula Fala and officially welcomed him into the group, a move that caught The Usos by surprise.

Before that, Reigns cut a promo about his family’s history in WWE and said The Bloodline has “always been here.” The OTC mentioned The Wild Samoans, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, The Usos, and the rise of the Tribal Chief himself as examples of the dynasty’s presence in the company, but he did not mention The Rock at any point.

That detail stands out because WWE has previously presented The Rock as part of The Bloodline. In February 2024, Reigns introduced the “Final Boss” as an official member of the group, just weeks before the two faced Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins on Night One of WrestleMania XL.

The possible explanation lies in how Reigns framed the promo. By citing names such as Afa, Sika, Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, and The Usos, the champion focused mostly on the Anoa’i/Fatu lineage. The Rock’s family connection, meanwhile, comes through Peter Maivia, who was considered a “blood brother” of Amituana’i Anoa’i, rather than through a direct blood relation.

After the promo, Fatu was officially brought “into” the family and went on to attack Eric André on Reigns’ orders, reinforcing his spot as the stable’s new violent enforcer.

It remains to be seen whether The Rock’s absence was simply a creative choice or whether WWE is setting up future tension involving the Final Boss.
