Killer Kross has shared new details about his relationship with Roman Reigns during his time in WWE.
Speaking on Muscle Memory with MuscleManMalcolm, Kross said he only had a handful of conversations with Reigns, but described each one as meaningful.
“When I did speak with him, the few sparing times, I found them to be very meaningful. I have a tremendous amount of respect for him as a human being and a professional. He’s super cool. Thing about him: Don’t try to work him. Be cool. He’ll sniff you out. If you’re cool, if you’re authentic, you know, you guys will get along. You try to work that guy, it’s not going to be good for you.”
The two never ended up feuding in WWE, despite Kross returning to the company in a segment involving Reigns and Drew McIntyre on the August 5, 2022 episode of SmackDown.
During that appearance, Kross attacked McIntyre and left an hourglass in the ring while Reigns was still WWE’s dominant champion and the undisputed leader of The Bloodline.
Kross’ second WWE run proved to be an inconsistent one. Despite several notable moments alongside Scarlett, he departed the company following SummerSlam 2025 when WWE chose not to renew his contract.
Since then, he has resumed using the Killer Kross name on the independent scene and is currently one of the top stars in MLW, where he holds the MLW World Heavyweight Championship.
