Roman Reigns is expected to remain at the top of WWE for a considerable stretch, at least based on the company’s current view of his reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

According to TRNBCKL, WWE sources note that the OTC’s title reign is not expected to end any time soon, as the company is said to be very pleased with everything that has been built so far.

Reigns won the title on the second night of WrestleMania 42, defeating CM Punk in the show’s main event. Since then, his new reign has been treated as one of WWE’s creative foundations.

After WrestleMania, Reigns has already faced major tests within his own family. At Backlash, he defeated Jacob Fatu to retain the title, though he was brutally attacked by the “Samoan Werewolf” after the match.

The rivalry continued at Clash in Italy, where Reigns once again got past Fatu, this time in a Tribal Combat Match. The result kept the OTC undefeated under that stipulation, after he had previously beaten Jey Uso and Solo Sikoa.

More recently, on the June 15 episode of Monday Night RAW, Reigns presented Fatu with an Ula Fala and officially welcomed him into The Bloodline, creating a new dynamic involving Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso.

With that, the expectation is that WWE will continue exploring Reigns’ title reign alongside the ongoing fallout within The Bloodline, with no rush to make a title change in the short term.
