Shayna Baszler and Zoey Serrano are the new TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champions after defeating Allie and Kiera Hogan at Bound For Glory on Sunday.
The match was Baszler’s official in-ring debut for TNA. She was announced as Serrano’s partner on Thursday’s iMPACT.
Baszler and Serrano controlled much of the match, largely by targeting Hogan’s left leg and keeping her from making the tag to Allie.
Allie rallied late and hit Serrano with a Codebreaker. Serrano recovered, however, and launched Allie into a knee from Baszler, who locked in a chokehold right away for the submission win.
Baszler and Serrano, who was previously known as Zoey Stark, were members of the Pure Fusion Collective in WWE along with Sonya Deville, who now goes by Daria Rae in TNA.
Allie originally won the titles with Rosemary at Slammiversary on June 28. Hogan took Rosemary’s spot after Rosemary was injured and made her TNA return at Lockdown in August, where she and Allie defeated The Elegance Brand in a Steel Cage match.
