Alexa Bliss Reaches Major Milestone by Winning Women’s Tag Team Titles on WWE SmackDown

Alexa Bliss reached a major milestone in her WWE career on Friday’s SmackDown in Louisiana.

Teaming with Tatum Paxley, Bliss defeated Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship for the fifth time in her career.

Charlotte Flair was originally scheduled to team with Paxley, but Jade Cargill, B-Fab and Michin laid Flair out backstage.

With Flair unable to compete, General Manager Nick Aldis considered postponing the match. Flair, however, asked that Bliss take her place, and the request was quickly approved. Paxley hit the Cemetery Drive and scored the pinfall to win the match.

With the win, Bliss tied Asuka and Raquel Rodriguez for the most reigns as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion, with five each. Bliss also became the first wrestler to win the title with four different partners, having held it with Nikki Cross, Asuka, Flair and Paxley.

Bliss won the title with Cross in August 2019 and again in April 2020. She later won it with Asuka in October 2022 and with Flair at SummerSlam 2025.

The win also gave Paxley her first championship since she was called up to the main roster in August.
