Solo Sikoa has been showing a noticeably different version of his character over the past several weeks in WWE, and according to Sikoa himself, the persona fans are seeing now finally reflects who he really is off-camera.
Speaking on WWE Now after SummerSlam, Sikoa explained that his early years on the main roster were defined by intentional silence. Working alongside Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman, he spent that time studying how the Tribal Chief spoke, cut his promos, and carried himself on camera.
That investment started paying off after WrestleMania 40, when Sikoa was given more room to talk and eventually took control of The Bloodline during Reigns’ absence. Over time, that evolution also led to the formation of the MFT.

5:25 PM · Aug 9, 2026The real turning point, though, came after the MFT fell apart. On June 26, Tama Tonga and Talla Tonga turned their backs on Sikoa, leaving him on his own. Shortly after, Sikoa began aligning with LA Knight and Royce Keys to go after Roman Reigns and his family.
At SummerSlam on August 1, the new personality was on full display. Sikoa trolled Jey Uso by busting out the signature “YEET,” played to the crowd, and helped Knight and Keys pick up the win over Jacob Fatu and The Usos.
Sikoa had actually foreshadowed this shift back in 2025. At the time, he noted that the playful side he occasionally showed on TV was exactly how he and his brothers acted in real life, but that he intended to let it come through gradually.
