Dominik Mysterio is reportedly unhappy with his WWE booking, particularly the gap between how he’s used on Raw and his presentation as AAA Mega Champion.
Sources who spoke with False Finish say Mysterio believes WWE should present him more seriously given that he holds AAA’s top title.
Per the report, Mysterio wants the two versions of his character brought closer together rather than coming across as a completely different act depending on the show.

7:51 PM · Aug 8, 2026The disconnect has been hard to miss lately. In AAA, Dominik turned on El Grande Americano at Verano de Escándalo and aligned with Dorian Roldán and Omos. On the 8/1 episode, he declared himself the “king of the luchadores” and said he controls the company, cementing his spot as a top act on the show.
In WWE, his booking has leaned more toward comedy. At SummerSlam on 8/2, Danhausen defeated Mysterio in a Human Monies on a Pole Match after his “curse” sent pyro shooting from the turnbuckle.
Mysterio has held the AAA Mega Championship since September 12, 2025, when he defeated El Hijo del Vikingo at Worlds Collide.
