Tamina remains listed by WWE, but her long spell on the sidelines could end without any return to the company’s programming.

According to Sean Ross Sapp, during a recent edition of Fightful Select Answers, the veteran hasn’t been attending WWE events and isn’t factored into creative plans in any way.

“She’s not really at the shows, despite being listed on the roster. That seems to come up here and there. She’s not factored in creatively whatsoever, and hasn’t wrestled in years. Once the new regime took over, she wasn’t used anymore, but was occasionally backstage. She was actually seen speaking with CM Punk when he showed up at Raw while still under AEW contract. She’s almost 50 and hasn’t competed in over three years, so it’s quite likely we won’t see her again.”

Tamina hasn’t wrestled since February 27, 2023, when she lost to Michin on an episode of WWE Main Event. Since then, her only appearances have come backstage, including the night CM Punk showed up on Monday Night RAW that April, while he was still under contract with AEW.

She has never officially announced her retirement, but the situation suggests her in-ring career may have quietly come to an end. Tamina debuted on the main roster in May 2010 and won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship alongside Natalya in 2021, along with several reigns with the now-defunct 24/7 Championship.

The veteran has also long been highly respected backstage. Nia Jax has called her one of the locker room’s pillars and the women’s division’s well-known “Mama Bear,” while Natalya said in 2025 that she’d like to see her back in WWE.
