Reina Volcan is set to make her official in-ring debut for WWE next Tuesday, July 21, on a new episode of NXT.

The news was confirmed on this week’s show, when the promotion aired another vignette for the newcomer. Volcan introduced herself as the first woman born in the Dominican Republic to reach WWE and vowed to take control of the women’s division.

Despite not having wrestled a televised match yet, Volcan has already made an appearance on WWE programming. On the June 30 episode, she closed out the show by attacking Tatum Paxley right after the former champion was defeated by Kelani Jordan. Commentators didn’t reveal her identity at the time.

A week later, the performer formerly known as Nikki Blackheart confirmed she’d be going by the name Reina Volcan. WWE had filed the trademark for the name on June 8, but there were still some details tied to the process that needed to be finalized before she could debut.

Volcan started her pro wrestling career in 2024, competing mainly on the Florida independent circuit. She trained under Gangrel and also took part in a women’s camp organized by Bayley, an experience that helped put her on WWE’s radar.

Before making her TV appearance, Volcan wrestled a dark match at NXT tapings in May under the name Martinez. Now, she’s set for her first official opportunity in front of the cameras.
