Tessa Blanchard has officially left TNA, and her future remains unknown at this point. However, some are already speculating that she could end up in WWE.
Her exit came amid a restructuring at the Nashville-based company, which also affected names such as Tommy Dreamer and Sami Callihan. In Blanchard’s case, however, the situation involved her presence in CMLL, where she had been getting more opportunities and building a new chapter.
Speaking on LTB&H, Al Snow said he would not be surprised if WWE tried to sign Blanchard, especially given the company’s new involvement with AAA.
“I will not be a bit surprised to see her in WWE. With WWE now putting its tendrils down into Mexico and AAA, it would make sense that depending on what she does at CMLL and how much she utilizes that platform to make herself a draw in Mexico, that at some point in time WWE goes, ‘Hey, why don’t you come here?’”
Snow’s comments carry added weight because WWE announced in 2025 that it had acquired AAA in partnership with Fillip, opening a new front for the company in the Mexican market.
Blanchard, meanwhile, explained on CMLL Informa that TNA itself asked her to choose between continuing as a wrestler for the American company or focusing on CMLL. The former TNA World Champion said her life is in Mexico and that she still has major goals in lucha libre.
At this point, there is no confirmation of any formal interest from WWE in Blanchard.
