The Wyatt Sicks Could Sign With Major Promotion After WWE Exit

TNA could be close to signing two former members of The Wyatt Sicks, with Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy the names currently being discussed behind the scenes.

According to PWInsider, there are rumblings within TNA that several former Wyatt Sicks members could show up as early as the company’s next set of Impact tapings in Texas. Lumis and Gacy, specifically, have come up in creative pitches, though no deal has been confirmed.

The tapings are scheduled for September 24 and 25 at the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio, with the September 24 episode airing live on AMC and AMC+.

The interest isn’t new. On Tuesday, The Takedown on SI reported that TNA had “serious interest” in bringing in multiple Wyatt Sicks members, though at the time there was no indication which names were in play.

Lumis and Gacy were released by WWE on April 24 along with Uncle Howdy, Nikki Cross, and Erick Rowan. Since then, the two have reverted to their Samuel Shaw and Joseph Sawyer names and continued teaming together on the independent scene.

The pair already had a strong run together in WWE, where they won the WWE Tag Team Championship in July 2025 and held the belts for 196 days.

Sawyer is also the reigning GCW World Champion. His most recent defense, on September 12 in Los Angeles, came against Shaw.

For Lumis, joining TNA would be a homecoming. He had several runs with the promotion between 2010 and 2015 as Samuel Shaw before signing with WWE.

There’s no word yet on any potential plans for Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, or Nikki Cross.
