Three NFL Teams Reached Out to WWE About Danhausen Partnerships

Danhausen, already one of the top acts on WWE‘s weekly programming, could be in line for even more exposure outside the ring in the coming months.

According to WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select, at least three NFL teams have reached out to WWE about possible partnerships with Danhausen this season, including in-person appearances at stadiums.

There’s also an internal expectation within WWE that Fanatics will roll out Danhausen merchandise in partnership with the NFL as early as this season.

The possibility comes at a time when Fanatics already has a direct relationship with both sides. In 2023, its partnership with WWE expanded to include merchandise sales at company events.

In April, Fanatics also signed a multi-year partnership with the NFL for sales at the league’s marquee events, including the Super Bowl, NFL Kickoff and the NFL Draft. The company already handles online sales for 29 teams and in-stadium sales for 16 of them.

Danhausen was recently at the center of a major WWE promotional campaign. Ahead of SummerSlam in Minneapolis, WWE and ESPN sent a Danhausen-themed truck to multiple locations around the city, including U.S. Bank Stadium, offering photos and other experiences for fans.

The three interested teams haven’t been named. More details on the possible partnerships and the Fanatics products are expected in the coming months.
