AEW has announced two more matches for the three-hour Dynamite and Collision special on Wednesday, September 23, at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana.
Persephone will defend the TBS Championship against Hyan in what will be just her second defense of the title. She won it by beating Maya World on the All In: London Buy In on August 30, then retained against VertVixen on the September 5 episode of Collision.
Hyan and Persephone were on opposite sides earlier this month, when Hyan teamed with Maya World and Thunder Rosa against Persephone, Hikaru Shida and Britt Baker on the September 9 Rebel Heart edition of Dynamite. Baker ended the match by forcing Hyan to submit to the Lockjaw.
The second match pairs AEW World Champion Will Ospreay with “Speedball” Mike Bailey against Gabe Kidd and Claudio Castagnoli. Ospreay defeated Kidd in last week’s Dynamite main event. Bailey beat Wheeler Yuta on the most recent episode of Collision and was attacked after the match. That attack touched off a big brawl involving the Death Riders and The Dogs.
Ospreay is also just days away from his first defense of the AEW World Championship, against Jon Moxley at All Out on Saturday, September 26. Moxley beat Bailey in a Continental Championship Eliminator match on September 12.
Wednesday’s show will also feature Swerve Strickland and The New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) defending the AEW World Trios Championship against The Demand. The winners will face “Hangman” Adam Page, Bandido and Brody King at All Out.
