Max Caster’s TNA debut left company executives unhappy. His unapproved reference to the attacks in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, caused problems behind the scenes.
Caster came out to face Moose at Bound For Glory and performed one of his trademark raps on the way to the ring, including a reference to the bombings in the Saudi capital.
“I drop bombs. You don’t even have to fly to Riyadh.”
The line came just days after an attack on King Khalid International Airport left multiple people dead and hundreds injured.
Fightful Select reports that the line drew an extremely negative reaction from TNA executives.
“TNA executives were reportedly unhappy with an unscripted, unapproved line referencing Riyadh.”
After the fallout, TNA pulled the video of Caster’s entrance from its social media accounts. The most recent word on Caster’s status is that he will not be working with the company.
Caster left AEW in early October when his contract expired.
