TNA Slammiversary and AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door are both set for Sunday, June 28, but the two pay-per-views will not go head-to-head.
Slammiversary is scheduled for 3 p.m. ET at Agganis Arena in Boston, according to both Ticketmaster and the arena’s official listing. Forbidden Door will take place later that night at SAP Center in San Jose, California, with AEW listing a 4 p.m. PT start time, which translates to 7 p.m. ET. The show will feature talent from AEW, NJPW, CMLL, and STARDOM.
The gap between start times keeps the two events from directly competing, a notable detail given the recent temperature between TNA and AEW. TNA president Carlos Silva recently defended the company’s decision to pull its talent from independent matches against AEW names, saying he needed to “protect TNA” after moves that, in his view, put the promotion under pressure.
Slammiversary will still face major competition. The 2026 FIFA World Cup will have matches taking place during that stretch, beginning with games on June 28.
The event will be one of TNA’s biggest shows of 2026. The company has also confirmed Bound For Glory in Tampa, along with additional pay-per-views in Chicago and Edmonton.
