WWE Monday’s RAW is expected to close with a key match in the women’s division.
According to Viper Reports, WWE’s preliminary rundown for the show lists Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer in the main event.
Lynch vs. Vaquer is a No. 1 contender’s match, and the winner will earn a shot at Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.
But the plans for the end of the show are facing a last-minute change. As previously reported, WWE raised new questions about Vaquer’s medical status and announced that Adam Pearce will address it during the broadcast.
WWE has also changed its official preview for RAW. Lynch vs. Vaquer was removed from the list of announced matches, though the company still has a separate page up for it.
The two are vying for a chance to face Morgan after she defeated both of them in a triple threat match at Money in the Bank on October 10.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that the ankle injury Vaquer suffered in that match was legitimate, though she was initially expected to be out for a short time.
Monday’s RAW is set to air live on Netflix at 8 p.m. ET from the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.
