The UFC-WWE connection under the TKO banner may be headed for a new chapter in Las Vegas. The two companies have already collaborated on multiple fronts since TKO’s formation in 2023.
UFC is now putting together a major development plan for the unused land surrounding its headquarters, the Performance Institute, and the Meta Apex. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the company controls roughly 70 acres in the area, with approximately 35 acres still available for new projects.
UFC COO Lawrence Epstein revealed that a hotel and a WWE facility are among the options being explored for the site.
“We’re currently in the process of developing a master plan for this facility, which will include hopefully a lot of things, including … a hotel, expansion with our TKO partner WWE, maybe additional collaborations with other sports and entertainment organizations here in Las Vegas,”
No specifics have been shared about what a WWE facility on the property would actually look like, and Epstein’s comments stop short of confirming any relocation of the Performance Center to Las Vegas.
WWE’s developmental home base remains in Orlando, Florida, where it continues to host NXT and EVOLVE events in 2026.
It’s worth noting that NXT Battleground was held at the then-UFC Apex in June 2024, marking a direct cross-brand collaboration between WWE and UFC at a TKO-owned venue.
The Meta Apex itself recently underwent a major renovation. Its capacity, previously capped at around 175 fans in certain configurations, has been expanded to nearly 1,200, along with additional event space.
