Carmelo Hayes returned to WWE on the latest episode of Raw, aligning himself with 946 after being absent from TV for several months. His last appearance on WWE programming had come when he faced Baron Corbin in a match for the United States Championship on August 14 and was defeated.
Since then, he had been absent, with no prospect of being used by the creative team. In the meantime, he deleted his X account, which led several fans to believe he was leaving WWE, which was not the case.
Now, according to False Finish, it was Royce Keys who personally requested Hayes for 946.
It is still too early to say whether this will really work out, but the fact is that Hayes has resurfaced as part of a stable that has been gaining a lot of prominence in WWE lately.
On closer inspection, WWE appears to be building toward the WarGames match at this year’s Survivor Series, which will take place on Saturday, November 28.
Fans will have to wait and see what the future holds for both stables.
