Will Ospreay is officially confirmed for AEW All In: London. This past Sunday at Forbidden Door, held at SAP Center in San Jose, Ospreay defeated Swerve Strickland in the men’s Owen Hart Foundation Tournament final, earning an AEW World Championship shot at Wembley Stadium.

The match closed out the pay-per-view and was marked by an absurd level of intensity. Both wrestlers bled heavily, traded their biggest moves, and survived several finishers before Ospreay used the Tiger Driver 91 to win.

After the show, Ospreay had already spoken about the weight of the victory, saying he now has the opportunity to become the first Englishman to win a world title on English soil.

Now, on his official X account, the “Aerial Assassin” has once again commented on the historic moment:

“This moment felt a weight lifted.

Knowing this Wednesday a much heavier weight will be on my shoulders that I’ll need to carry for 2 months to Wembley Stadium.

It’s coming home”

The “weight” Ospreay mentioned is directly tied to the road to All In: London, which is set for August 30, once again at Wembley Stadium.

Before that, however, the AEW World Championship situation could still change. MJF is set to defend the title against Mark Briscoe on this Wednesday’s Dynamite in San Diego, after Briscoe also earned his opportunity at Forbidden Door.

That means Ospreay already knows he will be in the Wembley main event, but he still does not definitively know who will be the champion standing across the ring.
