Team Briscoe won one of the most chaotic matches at AEW Forbidden Door 2026, which took place Sunday night in San Jose, California. With the result, Mark Briscoe earned a future shot at MJF for the AEW World Championship.

The match featured Briscoe teaming with Orange Cassidy, Roderick Strong, Kyle O’Reilly, Konosuke Takeshita, and Darby Allin against Team DCMJF, which included MJF, Kevin Knight, Kyle Fletcher, Jake Doyle, Kazuchika Okada, and Andrade El Ídolo.

The bout included several extremely dangerous spots. Kyle O’Reilly used a Nintendo console on Fletcher, Briscoe scattered thumbtacks across the ring, and Darby Allin jumped from the top of the structure.

In the closing moments, MJF tried to use the Dynamite Diamond Ring on Briscoe with Doyle’s help. Andrade, who had already been showing frustration with the world champion and Don Callis, refused to follow orders and betrayed MJF, hitting the Team DCMJF leader with Dia de los Muertos.

Andrade then tore off his Team DCMJF shirt and revealed a message aimed at Don Callis and MJF, officially ending his alliance with the group.

Back in the ring, Briscoe took advantage and hit Doyle with a Jay Driller to win the match.
