Will Ospreay Takes a Big Shot at The Rock Ahead of AEW All In

Will Ospreay is on the verge of one of the biggest moments of his career, but he still found time to take a shot at The Rock ahead of AEW All In.

Ospreay will main event the pay-per-view this Sunday, August 30, at Wembley Stadium in London, challenging Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship.

Appearing on ITV’s Good Morning Britain alongside comedian Jack Whitehall, Ospreay got into a discussion about The Rock after Whitehall brought him up as someone who works for the “other side,” a reference to WWE.

Ospreay seized the moment to fire off a shot:

“Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s never main evented Wembley Stadium.”

Ospreay’s claim holds up. WWE‘s own records show that SummerSlam 1992, the famous Wembley event, was main evented by Bret Hart and British Bulldog. The Rock did headline WWE shows in the UK, including a match against Triple H at Rebellion 1999, but never at that particular stadium.

This will mark Ospreay’s third All In at Wembley. He beat Chris Jericho at the 2023 event and defeated MJF the following year to capture the AEW International Championship. This time, though, he’ll be in the main event for the first time.

Ospreay punched his ticket to the world title match by beating Swerve Strickland in the men’s final of the Owen Hart Foundation Tournament on June 28.
