Drew McIntyre’s possible return to WWE television at Crown Jewel has been thrown into doubt after the company booked him for an appearance on the same day as the premium live event.
On Saturday, WWE’s official UK account confirmed that McIntyre will appear at Zuffa Boxing 12 on November 7 at the Copper Box Arena in London. Bayley will also be there, and VIP tickets for meet-and-greet sessions with the two are on sale.
The announcement affects speculation about a McIntyre return at Crown Jewel, which is set for the same day at Riyadh Season Stadium in Saudi Arabia.
WWE’s lineup for Zuffa Boxing 12 has changed since it was first revealed. The company announced Finn Bálor and Bayley for the event on October 1, but Saturday’s post lists McIntyre alongside Bayley with no mention of Bálor.

McIntyre’s appearance at the boxing event will center on meeting fans. Zuffa Boxing is part of TKO, WWE’s parent company, and counts Nick Khan, WWE’s president, among its executives.
WrestleVotes Radio reported on October 8 that WWE’s creative team was discussing a possible McIntyre return on RAW rather than SmackDown.
Saturday’s confirmation also comes after McIntyre told Going Ringside that he plans to return to WWE but that his Hollywood career remains his priority for now.
